Yes, I love Crash! I saw it at the cinema and was interviewed by local radio afterwards because there was talk of banning it in the UK at the time. I'd literally just walked out of the screening so I gushed about how great it was and they didn't broadcast anything I said.

I had Simearth as well, and I don't think I ever figured it out either! My dad always loved Transport Tycoon but I could never get into it. My favorite was The Movies.

I've also had conversations with people who will watch video essays on a film instead of the film itself. They know everything about what the film was trying to say but haven't experienced any of it themselves. There's no emotional reaction.

I'll definitely support this. Moviedrome was my film education, and I love Repo Man and Walker. His adaptation of Death and the Compass is also one of my favourites.

I use Tidal. They do have an option to import playlists although I think there's a charge for it.

I've grown to love the prequels, particularly Phantom, which has some incredible design work and more practical effects than the later ones. I think the story is great when you consider its ambition, you just have to tune out the dialogue, which is 100% trash.

Second year watching This Is Christmas has pushed it further up in my top 10 Christmas films. It's terribly cheesy but there's a reality to it and it's one of the few Christmas films to show people having real life 9 to 5 jobs that sometimes get in the way of fun.

My mum and I graduated the same year because she got her Masters the same time I got my degree. Her graduation ceremony was way better than mine because Staffordshire Uni gave an honorary doctorate to Benjamin Zephaniah. I remember his speech was more inspiring than anything I'd heard at my uni.
