It's so disturbing how many people still seem to think that authoritarianism is a hypothetical future possibility, rather than something that already exists.
I think that Biden wins, probably pretty handily, in November, and the locus of antidemocratic contestation shifts in turbo mode to smaller polities; in other words, it becomes diffuse and probably much harder to eradicate.
