I couldn't follow the Finnish so I looked the subject up. This lead me to the discovery that a collision between two neutron stars can produce between 3 and 13 Earth masses of gold. Stick that in your space opera.

Finncon 2024 is now well under way. I have been in the academic conference discussing papers on Atwood and Jemisin. Much food for thought. Got to recommend The Coral Bones, which I much prefer to Oryx & Crake.
