I keep having ghost files not copying in UE5 and just seeing if I was missing something. This won't be the disaster AI post for everyone... but if you know unreal this Google response?!? Yikes... and then actual note they link to in their response.

You ever use the "fix up redirects" after moving a folder? That SHOULD fix the ghost file bad reference stuff.

I mean, the true horror here is still that it's so incredibly easy to break your project that experienced devs just shrug off ever using the file sys tools.... 😿

I mean, you CAN move .uasset files outside of UE in much the same way that you can turn any restaurant into a drive thru if you just aim for the front door and hit the gas. It won't get you the *desired* results, mind you...
