And like all neoliberal politicians, they want a piece of the action so do little to rein in the rich since that's who they aspire to be at our expense. Sure they're better than the right but it's still an awful choice that we're stuck with at the polls.

Blair of course is running with Rupert Murdoch's favorite issue. Murdoch of course, exported his toxic racism from Oz to the UK and US and still runs hard despite being an immigrant himself. Blair had a close relationship with Murdoch until well, that rumored little issue with his wife.

It's quite shocking to listen to the guy who dove into a war that killed hundreds of thousands of innocent people plus created over a million refugees, spout out about immigration "problems." The real problem would be the rich not paying taxes and hiding money offshore.

I've had a few cats that took some time but eventually they came out of their shell. Even with Mimo, I would pick her up and just hold her for a while so she could get used to it. She would jump out right away but then would spend more and more time in my arms. Now it's Mimo who climbs on me.

I'm looking for a small-ish stepladder for the new kitchen, to reach the higher shelves. If anyone knows of anything that folds up and looks nice enough I'm all ears! I have a larger stepladder (metal) and a very small plastic step but neither looks great. Looking for something a bit more stylish.

Poor little guy! I remember when Mimo came home, she was very nervous and if she found a scrap of food, she would grab it and run. It took her a little while to figure out that if she wanted food I would give it to her. Now that she's settled in, she's glue to me and has no stress about eating.

But it does fit because I removed the old chimney and wall. The electrical work on the wall did lead to the issue with a neighbor's chimney conduit. 😬

I changed the tiny outside kitchen into a wet bar and will do simple things out there. I wanted a proper kitchen so that's going in tomorrow. Finally, an oven and normal sized stove.

It's going to be challenging after Macron did his best to block the cooperation. But at least some of his party decided to cooperate so maybe there could be work with them.

Looking forward to the Jupiter Boy fan club to spin yesterday as a victory for him. They will ignore his attempts to destroy efforts cooperate to fight against the FN because in their minds, he's still the greatest. He botched this badly and it all started with his poorly timed retirement change.

It's no thanks to Macron, who was against coordinating with parties outside of the far right. He even tried to sabotage Attal's efforts to have the weakest candidates remove themselves to present a united front in the second round. Macron did his best to ruin it all. He's such a loathsome person.
