I’m not familiar enough with fishing lures to say one way or the other. There’s something about how the larger surface area of a motor car shows off a dichroic or holospectric finish, though. (Holo shown for optimal effect.)

Somewhere driving around this town is a custom detailed SUV that at a distance looks like a basic metallic grey, but when it passes you, you can see the dichroic coating shift exquisitely from purple to turquoise. Someone out there just really wanted a pigeon car.
