Googling how to get a doctor to take you seriously.... The advice appears to be to die in front of them. But otherwise, tell them someone else made you go to the doctor, don't dress neatly/wear make up, keep going back.

There was a period in my life where my physio had me keep a calendar where I wrote down things like: - Sleep - Meds - Exercise -Weight -Food -Symptoms So I could just thump it on a doctor's desk. Very useful for everyone who just said, "Have you tried excerc--" THUMP!
