I will say that the superior Westminster system of powerful PMs with few veto points has kept the curse of US-style permanent deadlock out of UK politics, by letting parties screw things up so badly that the whole country turns against them.

Fair to laugh: but there *are* differences (to do with neither FPTP or Brexit). The complete failure of the far right to win support of anyone much under 40 in the UK is not accidental - and a huge contrast to eg France. See for a very good take x.com/sundersays/s...
