I think there's a lot more space in tech for embracing the kinds of novel approaches to programming that neurodivergent people might have. Ai code tools pushing the homogeneous mindset behind programming the "right way" will only make things worse for everyone long term

One thing I'd recommend doing after you get the basics of godot down is checking out some of the add-ons from the addon tab. I don't do this nearly enough but there's quite a few really helpful tools!

Been working on my game full time for 3 months now? And the thing I miss most from native Android app dev is how easy it is to set up automated deployments. It's not impossible but damn is it expensive if you don't want to self host or set up your own build server 🤷

Felt this w/ adhd as well. I didn't want anything to have been different about my life but there's also like... seeing so many obvious signs of how neurodivergence impacted you in life can hit hard, and keep hitting hard for years 😅

The other part I like about SOME udemy or similar courses is that they split up the content so I'm not having to watch like "here's 50 min of explaining something and also lmao if you think I'm going to put timestamps/chapters in"

This reminds me of an idea I had in which users would get tokens of their data (stored locally), and then companies/websites would offer a payout to receive that data from you. Or you could just not give them that data. Your choice! I wanna implement it at some point 🤔🤔

And I also just kind of want to show people who are super anti-ai that maybe there's some middle ground that it's worth considering. Especially given that some "ai" tools are incredibly valuable to people. Text to speech, automatic transcription, computer vision

So idk, I don't want to just entirely dismiss stuff, because maybe there are things that can be interesting ways to use ML. I think people that post pure generated stuff and pretend that they "created something" suck, and I hope they realize that there's value in the process of imperfect work

Idk what this is but when I take my time drawing I literally nod off and can fall asleep. I've gotten to the point where I can at least finish a drawing but once even something simple is done I'm 85% of the way asleep.

So if you just install xcode and the target platforms, and just create your keys from xcode settings, your keychain access will still not have those intermediate certs because Apple laughs at your choice of editor

I spent DAYS trying to figure out why my certs were failing when I tried to "code sign" my godot exports, because they were created using the EXACT steps outlined in the docs. Turns out there are "intermediate" certs which xcode "downloads for you" BUT ONLY IF YOU ARE BUILDING FROM XCODE

1. open xcode and create a new mac/ios project, compile & run it
2. Use xcode to generate a new certificate for apple dev/distribution

Lol this is true for android dev too, sometimes the editor gets a corrupted cache and your only option is to delete it and do a full rebuild. Feels like we should be well past this point for software development 😂

I love that I can just slap my theme in #godot onto UI elements and it just starts looking so much better 😊

Trying to play around with spacing a bit. But this was a nice little break from trying to figure out iOS code signing (idk why the terminology between iOS and android is so different)
