It has been known pre-2015 that hiring the best people we make you money and the real DE&I involved hitting the best people. Even the more outdated resources I see in my HR degree I started in 2015 (the year McKinney did this study) started that. The issue is if you half ass it then it doesn't work

Smart employers have been doing this for decades. It’s about making sure you do not miss the better hires and then not fully enabling the best hires. Convincing boardrooms that DEI doesn’t work is just a precursor to dissolving EEOC. DEI started as EEOC compliance.
