The part opted to just kill her and loot all her stuff 😑 Which I mean, is pretty funny and the game already thought she was dead, but I still felt bad lol. Afterwards, the party also gave the Gauntlets of Giant Strength to the Devil’s Fee lady and stole them back. Such is life with a naughty bard.

We try to talk to her and I can’t remember if she really says anything at all? I think she just said some overworld stuff but we didn’t have the mini cs while talking. Look at the journal and whoops, she’s dead somehow!?!? Despite her standing there. Instead of reloading everything.. /3

But here’s where the shenanigans start. So our goal was to just keep Hope alive and make it out right? Some point during the battle she gets knocked out, I swear she wasn’t fully killed but it was enough for the game to think she was. So we end the battle and she’s just standing there acting weird/2

Some more Baldur’s Gate 3 shenanigans (beware, probably getting into spoilers now). We went to the house of hope to get the hammer, things were cray, everything was on fire, but alas we defeated Raphael and his amazing Disney-esque battle theme. We even rolled high and got his ogre as an ally. /1

All this video game talk makes me want coffee now. Thankfully I have my trusty moka pot. But.. it kinda makes me want a start espresso machine.. is it true that moka pots are gateway drugs to more elaborate espresso setups?? Seems to be happening to me!

Granted, part of this game’s charm is getting to know and leveling up individual villagers. You can dance with them, do all sorts of rituals (good and bad), level them up.. So a larger world scale would defeat that I think. But c’mon lamb has gotta expand!!

I 100%’d Cult of the Lamb recently. That’s was a bit of a grind but had fun overall. Absolutely awesome game if you like a healthy mix of rogue-likes and villager management. I’d almost like another one as I feel there could be improvements, but also, imagine not a village but country? World??

On a positive note, the party has decided to split up and do multiple tasks throughout baldur’s gate in act 3 which is really helping to get things done. There is SO MUCH to do there. Started with clown parts (eck) but started to branch off and hit other objectives. Efficiency!

Might be an unpopular opinion, but after working in several studios which were either full open floor (no cubicles) or half open (several desks in a wide cubicle), I prefer that one place that had a real singular cubicle. It was quieter and private, but could still find/talk to coworkers easily.

It has been nearly three years for me since I lost my dad yet everything still reminds me of him, I still cry sometimes or have depression episodes.. They say grief will never fill go away we just have to learn to live with it. I’m sorry for your loss, it’s likely still very hard for you

Spent two whole sessions trying to figure out how to kill Gortash while avoiding traps to get this one achievement. We seem to have a plan for next time, but, geez it’s been daunting. Also gnome bard is a POS, he’s always trying to “prove” that Astinian is an a-hole, but we haven’t done his quests-

2. Oldest cult member/disciple is elderly and gonna die soon. Decide to throw him parties and send him off with a big hurrah! I do the naked dance ritual, crown him with flowers, have him drink, and finally mate to have offspring to proceed him. Well, he “finishes” and immediately dies 😅🤣

Even if people argue whether or not RT content was on the decline overall, they still developed into a super talented and great production company that makes some killer shows. I hoped they would be able to continue independently somehow, but who knows.

What a sad media news week. Rooster Teeth is being shut down, Toriyama passed away.. The latter was a huge part of my childhood and otherwise his work is recognizable everywhere. The former was a big part of my college and young adult life. I only fell off RT over the last couple years.

I am old enough to remember when Minecraft implemented the change to the food and healing system.. They used to use food to just heal hearts and there was no “eat food to be full, slowly heal over time”. I miss it!

Trying to play Fall of Porcupine, it’s an incredible game, but the soft locks and crashes are killing me 😫 I keep having to redo really significant things bc the checkpoints are pretty spread out and you can’t manually save.

Also, gnome bard likes to get into trouble. Partly because of his high persuasion but also because he likes chaos. He’s always the one to drink sus potions, stick his arm in scary things, and let other crazy bards stab his eye out (fucking mad lad!)
