Well, it was a tiny bit anticlimactic, but I suppose it wasn’t about the conflict. It was about the Doctor and all that he’s been through. Seeing him actually acknowledge his trauma after 60+ years of ignoring it was actually quite touching

Personally, I never thought Chibnall’s stuff was any worse than the previous two eras. Other than destroying Gallifray again, I can think of anything that was as bad as Love&Monsters or Nightmare in Silver
