This is like passing a law against murder. It’s already illegal for non-citizens to vote in federal and state elections. Some places allow it for local elections. And unlike murder, it’s much easier to catch people who do it. They have a card on file with their address.

My mother lives with me. She’s 81. Like her mother, she’s physically aged but her mind works just fine. The ridiculous thing about all this is that my mother is no different now than she was at 78, the age of Biden’s opponent. If you’re freaking out about one but not the other, examine yourself.

My grandparents lived through the depression and were very poor. They survived, they didn’t whine, and they inspire me. However, I now see that they were very traumatized people and the PTSD they suffered from such deprivation in their young lives never left them.

Where I live, I would never put a Democratic Party sign up or have a sticker on my car. I’m afraid of these people, and I don’t need the anxiety. I’ve felt like this since 2020, and NEVER before then. My hat is off to campaign workers who are brave enough to knock on doors.
