About Biden supposedly "weaponizing" the DOJ (i.e., doing what Trump has vowed HE actually will): The current Court wouldn't have cleared a path for presidential lawlessness if they thought for a moment that BIDEN would take that path. A backhanded admission of who is and is not the criminal here.

I was until last night that rare thing, an enthusiastic Biden supporter, and I still believe he would be an effective president for another four years. Now I agree completely with your essay, especially with Trump listening to his advisors and seeming normal as he lies and lies (and lies).

My other would be eatery name came from a friend whose sister knew someone who'd opened a knish store (if you've never eaten a knish, look it up). We were graduating college and a small storefront had opened on the main drag. His suggestion: Mish's Delishes Knishes.

Right. FWIW, the impetus for me was reading about a new sandwich shop called Between the Breads, which I thought was an awful name—probably trying and failing to make a lewd reference to "between the sheets." I knew in a flash that what they REALLY wanted was Strange Breadfellows.

OTOH, Gordie Dickson told a bunch of us at Clarion '74 that when an idea didn't pan out, he'd put it in a card file. When he reviewed the file every six months or so, he'd find that most of the ideas had made it into a story he'd written in the interim.

Your post comes just after I watched the latest episode of the great sitcom Abbott Elementary, in which the main character turns to a community college for students to staff a Philly schools program when Penn pulls out. Comm colleges so under-covered they didn't even occur to her till last minute.
