Get out there and draft a Constitutional Amendment that removes this presidential immunity, self-pardoning, and any ability for a president to interfere with his own prosecution. Then say anyone who votes against it goes straight to fucking prison because that’s apparently how they want it to work.

At one point this system of government made some level of sense, but then the same dudes who sucked all of the fun out of video games by optimizing the shit out of them on spreadsheets and exploiting glitches did the same thing to politics, and here we are.

Not to gameshow-ify it, but I'd have loved to see each candidate push a button to request a fact check on the other's statements. Let each campaign choose their own fact checker from CNN's employees, then have breaks after a Q to rate them true or false. Don't waste time calling each other liars.

Incumbency is a hellova drug, as it turns out. The problem is that Biden's been doing too good of a job thus far for the people around him to sit him down for a come to Jesus. Given the realistic options, he absolutely has. But at the same time, do none of you people have grandparents?

Ha, it's been a while! As I recall, it's all about movement - and it takes a minute to get the best of those abilities unlocked. Yeah I don't think it's the kind of game that permadeath adds much to until you're really trying to challenge yourself.

The only time it actually worked was Vader sensing Obi-Wan and Luke - his master and his son. He didn't sense Leia when she was right in front of him. In the prequels they obviously didn't sense Palpatine, but Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan didn't see Maul coming, either. Dooku never tried sneaking up so N/A.

I have worked with a fair number of writers who you can talk to all day and they can clearly articulate their points, but the moment you ask them to put it in text they overthink it and try to impress the professor. The result is all but unintelligible.

Unless you're writing something very formal, try to write how you talk. Don't try to sound smart by using unnatural vocabulary or elaborate phrasing - you're more likely to trip yourself up. Also, don't try to copy other writers' style; you want to stand out, not be indistinguishable from the crowd.

That's already been happening for decades, though. It's Gmail's whole business model to have robots read your email and then serve you ads it thinks are relevant to your interests. This is just (hopefully) making better use of that same information.

I'm really interested to see how the arguments go. I can totally see them coming out and asking how it's different for an AI to train on copyrighted material vs a human being inspired by it or making something super derivative but legally distinct. It's cynical but... kind of hard to refute?
