They’re not “gifts.”
They’re bribes.
Clarence Thomas took $4 million in bribes from billionaires.
Everyone understands this, and yet he still holds a lifetime position as one of the most powerful people in our country.
Unrig the Supreme Court.
The first world is the new third world.
Thing is, he is a cheap whore. The returns that billionaires get on their investment in him far out perform any traditional investment returns.
Thats because ALL THE PRESS calls them "gifts" instead of the Bribes that they are. Just like the "hush money" trial was an ELECTION INTERFERENCE TRIAL, HE CHEATED TO GET IN!!
Unless the press starts telling the truth with plain language, we are probably done!
🔵 BIDEN MUST 🔥AGGRESSIVELY🔥 run against BOTH Felon & Rapist Trump AND Illegitimate & Corrupt SCOTUS despite his reluctance to do either. Period. He will balance the votes he loses because of his Gaza problem by directly addressing the incredibly unpopular Supreme Court problem. #ExpandTheCourt
The comedy is lower court justices are NOT allowed gifts. The SCOTUS ruled that only they can receive gifts.
How do you vote like that with a straight face?
Clarence has the most "everything sucks, including my life" look on his face at all times.
He gives no shits other than what he can get for himself. I don't think he even cares about his rulings, he just does it because he knows corrupt people will give him things.
No, no, no. Bribes only happen in other countries. We don't do bribes here!
(Meanwhile I'm forced to do ethics training every year by my company which tells me not to accept "gifts")
IMPEACH 27THA - VERY BAD BEHAVIOR.
ALITO as well - also bad behavior.
Can't impeach without majorities of DEMS in govt; will we do it and cleanup OUR House or let the dirt keep multiplying?
Every Senate candidate needs to be asked whether they would vote to convict Thomas or Alito in an impeachment trial. Every Rep candidate needs to be asked if he/she would file articles of impeachment.
I got gifts while an MEP for 2.5 years. Stuff like a wool scarf (value €40?), a vegetable chopping device (value €20?) and a small piece of folk art (value €30?). Probably the total value of everything combined was not even €500!
The Supreme Court has spent the last 3 decades redefining corruption to the point where it's impossible for anyone to convicted of it, and now the reason why is pretty obvious
