I remembered the indecipherable ancient Sumerian bar joke (a dog walks into a bar and says "I can't see anything. I guess I'll open this one") and decided to read some of the other proverbs and jokes from the same collection and discovered that Sumer also had the original "No take! Only throw!" meme

Dang! My nephew was a volunteer firefighter & EMT in rural Maine (redundant) & they had a thing they called moose season, the season in which people got struck by mooses. 9/10 moose was fine, but when it wasn't, it was a big ol' mess o' moose! And not easy to clean and clear, but hey, mooseburgers!

That's one of my favorite Sam scenes. I've been reading through OG NM slowly (TPBs from the library, so it's spotty) & kinda wish I'd read it when I was a kid as opposed to, say, Punisher or Daredevil. Anyway, I was taking the piss re: my comment about double-fuck Cannonball. He's a good egg.
