It’s a small point but the Times refers to a case challenging regulation of herring fishing, apparently not realizing (or choosing not to mention) that that case is another right-wing put-up job whose purpose is to overrule Chevron, with the goal of destroying the U.S. regulatory state.

It’s like the old George Carlin joke, everyone who drives slower than you is an asshole and everyone who drives faster than you is a lunatic.

Yes, frivolous voter challenges are a common thing to look out for. If the line gets too long I would talk to voters coming out and ask them what’s causing the delay. If there’s anything shady going on the boiler room would either call the Board of Elections or get a court order.

I’ve been a Democratic poll observer 5 times, once in Florida, 4 times in PA. Looking forward to some Clockwork Orange-style brawls in 2024!

Can’t tell if you’re being sarcastic, but my family and I have made a point of seeing the animated shorts every year for many years and we always disagree on which is our favorite. Not this year. We were all blown away by “Letter to a Pig”.

Do the Russians have film of Russian models peeing on A.G. Sulzberger? It would be irresponsible not to ask.

I’m not saying that the New York Times is controlled by the Russians, I’m just saying that if it were their coverage of the presidential election wouldn’t be any different.

Just curious - am I the first person to suggest that Clarence Thomas is one of the need-for-chaos black men referred to in this post?

I would say that the Federalist Society is the legal department of the RNC, and the right wing justices are employees of the Federalist Society. Tomayto, tomahto.
