The question isn't whether authors who write dark fiction are dark themselves or not. The question is about dismantling long-established power structures that drastically favour the one demographic, exclude other voices and foster an environment in which ongoing abuse can occur unchecked. TY.

I think some people are trying to say cosy equals low stakes ie not THE WORLD WILL END IF THE SAVIOUR DOESN'T COME, and that's...just not how it works. My stakes are small, but that doesn't make my books cosy. LOL
