Look I could write angry horse girl books all day. I have never written a series that doesn't have an angry girl and a horse. I read a book on the people who inspired the myths of the Amazons and I can totally write a woman riding backwards on her horse to shoot arrows at her enemies as she flees.

Kid1 has a brain injury along with autism and ADHD (which came first, them or the brain injury) - he doesn't qualify for any of the govt things. And they applied for us. So good for you for getting it!

The Tax credit is really hard to get anyway (ditto all of the other ones) Kid1 is on AISH and you'd think he'd automatically qualify. But the rules are such that it's really difficult. Reading up on it, I think it was designed more for folks like Mom, who needed homecare for years.

A bit of promo as reaching readers becomes increasingly difficult. My current contemporary fantasy series is inspired by British myth and folklore. Dan Mackmain is mostly human, but he is a dryad's son, so the Green Man sends him to solve problems when the mundane and the uncanny collide.
