They've got two years until the next Scottish elections, should know by then if they are actually left of centre or are really sticking with Tory lite as they appear to be.

Yes.
And it makes it look like a huge Labour win, when it was really a modest improvement while the Tories imploded, going from 43 to twenty something percent.
Glad the Tories are gone, but I can still hate the system.

Truss has gone!
And Dross didn't get elected.
I'll take that.
Very glad the Tories are out, will hold my concerns about Labour until they do something, even if I have no real idea what that'll be.

Morning.
Looks to be great joy at the Tories getting a thrashing although I'll admit disappointment at the SNP.
Also disgust at Reform getting in but some pleasure to see Labour being hit by independants and Greens.
A complex set of feelings for this time in the morning.

Very much joining the too old to stay up brigade and will see how the election results are going when I need a wee in the night.
Good luck if you're trying to catch the whole thing.

Well they did arrange it so the postal ballot system struggled as all those on holiday suddenly had to apply for one. AND they've run the country for 14 years. So it must be someone else's fault it isn't working properly and is surely biased and woke.

Oh, and final scores on the doors, flyer wise, for this election, a 2 voter household:
Labour: 4
SNP: 2
ISP: 1
Scottish Family Party: 1
Tories: 5
Hopefully the only win the Tories will get today.

I used to go first thing to avoid people outside. Postal is easier now but it does lack that feeling of doing a thing of import.

Good morning. As the UK descends into a soggy (certainly in Glasgow where it's pishing down) frenzy of voting just remember one thing.
Only arseholes vote Tory (or Reform).

I voted by post ages ago, and have a cat.
This is not stopping me from looking forward to tomorrow for all the dogs at polling stations photos.
If you care about democracy or dogs, get out there and do that thing tomorrow troops.

Oh, yeah, I shoulda maybe said that my story in this is one of the tales from my Big Book of the Matter of Damnonia, so if you want a wee sample of my collie dug burrowings into Welsh and Irish lore, of the Not So Sekrit Hauf Troofs unearthed to be retold by a mad radge basturt bard... get in there.

So I'm actually in this. First short story ever in print. Don't let that put you off from getting a copy though. It's also full of fantastic stories from genuinely excellent writers.

If you don't promise nothing, you can't fail to deliver it.
As the Tory alternative is promise everything, deliver nothing, at least it's an alternative but not exactly an exciting one.

Thought I was being ignored for flyers this week but just got a Labour one through the door.
Of course, all it says is "Change" so clearly they have no policies worth shouting about.
On the theory that, if you have nothing good to say, say nothing, I think I prefer the others who didn't bother.
