The power's back on! 👏 A tree branch fell on the line across the road and took out the power. It was so small they pulled it off the line with their hands from the cherry picker bucket. Only two hours without power. They must be having a slow day! It got a little muggy in here but not bad.

Final thought: STOP LISTENING TO THE POLITICAL PRESS They do not have your best interests at heart, full stop. They want to make money off your fear. They're too ignorant to even have a survival instinct--do they think they won't be targeted in a Trump dictatorship?

Here is an example of the latter. This very old blue ash was hit by lightning, killing the terminal leader and leaving a dead spar. The crown of this tree begins to regrow, but without hormonal control from above, the entire crown is flattened and broadened.

I haven't purchased a thing from Etsy since I found one item I purchased there for sale at JC Penney for less $$. I was miffed. That was many years ago. They destroyed a good thing for artists, handcrafters, and their customers. I miss the old/original Etsy.

Good plan! Stay hydrated! It's not that hot here. We do have a heat advisory and broke a high temp. record, again. I am grateful I don't need to walk the dogs. They come right back in when the weather is not to their liking. Smart 🐾🐾🐾

Scrambled eggs, tuna salad, veggie salad, grilled with BBQ or marinated, roasted in a sandwich, raw with dip or a filling like herbed cream cheese, Goulash, in a white sauce, in rice dishes, zucchini cornbread casserole, any casserole, savory muffins... I pickle, blanch and freeze, or dehydrate.
