What do you mean, reopen to query submissions? As a freelance editor, I’m always open to working with authors on their query packages and novels :-) If you’re referring to my capacity as an assistant literary agent, I haven’t opened to queries yet but I will definitely announce it when I’m able to!

Another possible open call anthology being mulled over for next year - "Tea or Coffee, Stars, and Gravity" which does what it says on the tin (as they say). Stories will need to have 3 elements: tea or coffee, stars, and gravity.

After years of fighting a battle I can’t possibly win, today I gave up. I now have two office chairs, one next to the other. That way, the Senior Cat can claim whichever he thinks is his every morning, and I can use the other for my puny work. Peace has prevailed in our home.

He’s autistic, I’m ADHD. When he cooks, it’s science. Milligrams are measured, temperatures are taken, timers are set. When I cook, it’s chaos magic. You’re getting a delicious meal, but don’t ask me what I did or why the kitchen looks like a battlefield. Demons might have been invoked. Just eat.
