Tories + reform have 38% of the vote. They have dark money think tanks. Big Oil. Russia. Disinformation. They will continue to seek to undermine democracy and liberal values.

That is wrong. He should be in jail, pending trial, given what he's accused of

Sobering that tory + reform is still 38% or so of the vote, more than Labour (34% so far). Under PR would require a Labour LD Green coalition government (54%). Per BBC results so far. I support PR, but what the hell is wrong with people voting for hate? www.bbc.co.uk/news/electio...

One of the things to watch for is if Labour reverse the anti-protest lws brought in by the Tories

Of course we will - there was no need to close the door so firmly.

I just posted this: 'Voted. I was going to vote tactically, but the labour candidate is far enough ahead I decided to vote with my heart, largely because of Starmer's EU comment yesterday, saying we would not rejoin in his lifetime. FU, Starmer. We will. '

"The other curious omission in the research paper of course is that Google itself is one of the major companies rapidly developing and deploying generative...tools that cause harm" Google's new paper shows that harm is a feature, not a bug, of generative software (doesn't stop 'em pushing it tho)

Make it so, Britain. Imagine progressive parties arguing week in week out for positives, rather than who is the nastiest.

Now, an old stone wall is just bare rock. But with sheep gone, wild native trees are sprouting all around. As they close in, raising humidity levels, a great diversity of mosses, ferns, etc, will race to colonise. Nothing beats witnessing a rainforest ecosystem form. 🌎

The Tory project fear over a non-existent concept of "supermajority" is exactly why we need a political standards agency able to vet statements, speeches and political adverts before they go out and correct any misinformation, as well as fining culprits.

Reading 'The Invisible Bridge' showed a clear line from the late 1970s to the over-turning of Roe V Wade, among others. Nothing is guaranteed. The obscurantists keep chipping away, spending billions www.goodreads.com/book/show/20...

Well of course. I am aware of course he means 'wokeness' and decolonisation, because heaven forfend anyone should acknowledge Britain has not always been morally pure as the driven snow and teach children to look at history impartially
