We're working on Yokoi Kids Volume 2 and I've been avoiding writing anything on Double Dragon because, as much as I love beat'em ups, I kinda hate that game! So, instead of playing it I'm making up roll tables for a basic beat'em up journaling RPG and writing an entry step-by-step for the article.

Rick got it. Really slow, even for a GB game, but the power ups are impressive and I didn't hate the music (even though the sound effects got old after a while). Maybe I'll try to knock it out tonight too.

It's not the kind of game I would usually play, but that's why I like Yokoi Kids, it gets me to try new games. I liked Amazing Penguin more, but it was fun too.

Ok here's mine. Got to the stage 3 boss. I'm RTR on the list. Was trying for something like Ret RTO to kinda look like my name here but I guess vowels can't be used. Even tho they are used by dev scores. Fun lil game though that is slow but picks up. First time playing it.

The Game play music in Xenon 2 is a variation of Bomb The Bass's song Mega Blast (Hip Hop on Precinct 13). Which is also a variation of the theme from Assault on Precinct 13.
