Well I was all in on Bernie so I didn't think that was quite the issue though he seemed demonstrably sharper than Biden. But to Ian's point I'm not sure about that "nobody" presumption. I am not sure that is how most people evaluate the choice. It's a significant factor. Idk *how* significant.

The funny thing for me is that the last four years pretty much convinced me I'd been wrong about his capacity in 2020. It has been a surprisingly competent administration capable of taking hard positions that I doubt "puppet-master" advisors would have taken (Afghanistan was safer on autopilot).

This, on top of the fact that a lot of the people in a panic about this sound like McClellan, is the big thing for me. I watched the debate and it wasn't good but like... Trump sucked too. But the argument is that *other people* won't see that. And I'm not sure that's true.

The thing that kills me is McInnes posted the pic asking for critique, and menswear guy was really thoughtful and polite. He merely noted McInnes has narrow shoulders and it gives his body a tube shape and that was enough to shatter him.

They don't have a bluesky presence but MSPCA Angell, the hospital that saved Mina when she got really sick, has been swamped by a large scale rescue of boxers. Lots need urgent care before they can be adopted. It'd mean a lot to us if people could help them out.

Timing ended up where I had to be in the kitchen unloading groceries while MK had her therapy session nearby. Spent a lot of time wondering what sounds I could make in the background that really say, "This guy? Not the problem. Super supportive, actually, but only in healthy ways."
