I really admire John Fetterman for standing up for Democracy and Joe Biden. Fetterman knows what it's like to "stumble and fall," and then to have people be critical of him and doubt that he's capable of doing what he's been elected for. We need ALL Democratic legislators to be like John Fetterman.

🧵Am I reaching anyone outside of my resister friends? I hope so, but I really don't know. It's very difficult to change minds on social media because of algorithms and silos. Asha Rangappa wrote an article or two a couple of months ago on bridging vs. bonding. There's a tendency to bond, not bridge.

I may read up on this and write my Substack about it next Tuesday. Sadly I don't think there is a technique for doing something that will change hearts and minds on a broad scale. It will take an oblique approach, one on one, talking about Project 2025, loss of rights and the Supreme Court capture.

I agree that the media is absurd. Since most outlets are owned by big corporations that is understandable. It's not right but it's understandable. They're not both sidesing because they are part of the corporate web. If you haven't read Seth Abramson's Substack I would recommend it. It's a gem.
