Perhaps even more than being tricked, I hate that it makes me have to think, is this vision Mindy Kaling’s wearing AI? I'm all for critical media literacy but it is exhausting to have to do it when you're just doing a dumb scroll. I want to be filled with awe from human ingenuity dammit!

I think most (but not all) uses of AI are going to be the thing that ushers me screaming into my Elderly Librarian Shakes Fist at Cloud era. Can't even enjoy the ridiculous artistry of the Met Gala outfits without a bunch of pretty plausible fakes to ruin the experience.
