ok so Candy was not Injured like i thought, she wasn't limping she was stumbling bc she has an ear infection which i'm now treating with goo. cleaned smelly nasty debris out of her ear and put medicated goo inside. 7 day goo regimen. she already seems better

it's just really sad how vulnerable she feels. she cant tolerate touch or direct attention rn but she also cries if left alone. giving her lots of extra chicken and keeping things as low stress as possible. very relatable mood for me with my chronic pain. poor baby

Candy seems to be in pain so we're keeping her as rested as possible. she's mobile, no limp or excessive licking. good appetite. just unusually nervous (which is saying something) and less sprightly. hopefully being on collagen supports quick healing
