My selections were informed by my own tastes plus the listings on the Strawberry Bricks website at the time 9which have expanded since then). My 20th CD was then contemporaneous stuff - which was probably a mistake as it's not up to the original prog standards

Hi Chris. If I were to revisit, I'd probably add a few things in from 67-79 but nothing thereafter. My own take is that, really, anything post the first UK LP is probably not prog as, by then (mid '78), prog just started to repeat itself. Some great music post that but "Progressive"? Probably not...

Pretty much EVERY Peter Gabriel album, especially Passion and Up.
Discipline and Thrak. 90125 and Big Generator.

They were due to tour the UK at that time and I had a ticket to go. Turned up at the venue and they'd cancelled because Irmin Schmidt had broken his arm. Absolutely gutted 😬
