They are focusing on Don because he has the biggest difference between who he is and who he seems to be. And who he seems to be is who the 60s told him was the perfect man. Every character is reinforcing the appearance vs reality theme. Not all of them are talking about what is a man

I saw a really long but interesting blog post explaining why shatner is so hard to caricature and/or draw in general. At least during TOS, his face looks drastically different (more so than the rest of the cast) depending on the lighting and angle of the shot.

You can make asterion a long range powerhouse by giving him assasin subclass and then giving him some ranger levels with bow fighting speciality. The assassin part ups his critical hits and has him go first. rangers ups damage from bows and gives him an extra attack per turn.
