State-of-the-science review of masks/respirators is out, new from the airborne all stars. 38k words, 413 references.
Bottom line: masks work, but respirators work far far better. (And so much more!)

"Masks and respirators for prevention of respiratory infections: a state of the science review"
Masks work.
Respirators work better.
And anti-mask disinformation is as dangerous as anti-vax disinformation.

If I were looking for 3 philosophically contrasting examples of healthcare decision-making under conditions of uncertainty, and eg's 1 and 2 were masks in pandemics and undifferentiated presentations in primary care, what would be a good eg 3? TY. 🧪 #academicsky
