1999 was a landmark year for movies: Fight Club, first Kubrick in a decade, first Malick in several decades, etc Very much a part of that year was “South Park: Bigger, Longer and Uncut,” one of the funniest movies I’ve ever seen

I feel it really depends on the tone of the movie. If the tone is “this is what happened” then you expect it to be mostly accurate, but in something like “Amadeus” you accept that everything on screen is through a pretty subjective filter.

I have thought that despite current polling Biden is in a pretty sweet spot because if Trump’s the nominee Biden can win cuz Trump’s a lunatic, and if somehow Trump isn’t the nominee he’ll instruct his hardcore followers to burn everything down rather than vote. Biden just has to be “hated less”
