Braverman working hard to make sure the Tories are even more of the thing that voters rejected, is fine by me. Let her goose-step her way round the Nat C shindigs, courting ever increasing irrelevance.

Either this ridiculous law needs to go - NOW - or we need a mandatory ID card scheme which is completely free of charge to the public. These numbers show that "voter authority certificates", as a workaround for people who don't have a passport or a driving licence, just aren't good enough.

Starmer's getting all this done, while maintaining a side gig as host of This Is Your Life. Damn impressive.

JL2 ‘Lindsey Buckingham Christine McVie’ and really enjoyed it. A fun, chilled out, big hearted, unfussy, concise collection of catchy choruses, sweet melodies, gentle soul searching, expert pop craftsmanship, and the uplifting vibe of 2 gifted musicians delighting in each other’s company.

Morbid curiosity sent me down a YouTube wormhole of Americans talking about UK politics and it was astonishing. I didn't know it was possible to be that wrong, that many times, in the space of 5 minutes. At one point, it sounded like they were just recounting the plot to Battlefield Earth.

This is why it won't hurt Labour if the UK rejoins the single market and customs union. Whatever they do will be reported by the rant pamphlets as a betrayal of Brexit regardless. That is, as they say, "priced in".

News media, when anti-Corbyn votes give Tories a big majority: Johnson is God King of British politics! Conservatives are beloved and unstoppable! News media, when anti-Tory votes give Labour a big majority: That doesn’t count! It’s not a real win! Nobody likes Starmer!

When it comes to popular TV characters being almost constantly misunderstood and mischaracterised, even by fans, Hartnell's Doctor is second only to Victor Meldrew. They see 'grumpy old man' and nothing else.

‘Starmer scraps Rwanda policy’ But I was told Starmer’s Labour and the Tories are the same. It’s almost as if anyone saying that is some kind of cretinous buffoon, so emotionally hung up on not getting their precisely exact perfect version of Labour, they dismiss anything else as being Tory. Huh.

Look, I don’t want to cause a fuss or anything, but, you know, it’s been a day now and I don’t have a flying car. I was led to believe a Labour government would provide me with a flying car. Day one. So, if someone could, you know, look into the flying car thing, that’d be great. Thanks.

Almost hoping Starmer doesn’t bring an umbrella to Downing St, gets soaked, and everyone cheers him on for being such a good sport. Just so I can hear the distant brattish whining of the soon to be former PM.
