Right. I get that. That's terrible. But you also seemed to be saying age verification + anonymity is impossible and I've been having this talk about this with a few people because of a new bill in Canada and it does seem possible... just imperfect.

It is not possible to do age verification to a significant enough degree of confidence in a way that protects anonymity. It can't be done. Anyone who tells you otherwise is lying to you. It is fundamentally impossible.

That is in fact correct -- you can't do effective age verification with de-anonymizing all users.

I know that "just trust her, she's an expert" isn't a good argument but, err, I would suggest you check out her credentials at the very least.
