You know there will be a bunch of op-eds about speech on campus next week, and none of them will mention a Presidential candidate seeking to deport people for speech
I think the dumbest aspect of this supposed policy is that there are going to be protestors that are born and raised in the US - so where the hell would they be deported to? Does he assume that Palestine will take them since they're protesting for it?
Or the crucial detail that --- while Trump has long promised to deport people who enter the U.S. illegally --- now he's talking about deporting CITIZENS.
Never mind that his pledge, should he get elected (God fucking forbid), is a **blatant** 1A violation, as that'd be a federal restriction on/retaliation for otherwise non-criminal speech.
Like, if I were to go to a college campus and protest, where would I be deported to, my mom’s ancestral homeland Lithuania? Oh right, white people are exempt from this threat.

I'd wager at least one on a blog that sells "non-woke multivitamins" will mention this along with "they absolutely have it coming, we should deport some commies as well" or something.
