I've watched it every chance I got since I was a little kid (_far_ from "every year", but still somewhere between 15-20 times) and last year my sister and I saw the new stage production, which was _excellent_. The Triangle Trade song raised goosebumps.

It wasn't (so much) that DQ misspelled "potatoe" - it was that, even though people pointed out that the card was wrong and the kid was right, DQ stuck to his guns and said "that's what it says on this here card". I never cared whether he could spell; it was the attitude that grated.

Well, this sucks. Several chains of on-demand, custom, wood-fired pizza places opened practically simultaneously a few years ago, and Mod was the only one we really liked. Probably should have eaten there more often if we really wanted to keep them around...

Always, first, consider that YOU might be the problem: Chrome just updated, and suddenly every time I clicked on a link a new window opened. I was about to get Concerned™️, but then I realized that something was sitting on my laptop's keyboard (I use an external) and holding down the Ctrl key.

For the past few years, the Red Cross has emailed me to tell me where they delivered my most recent donation. The first of those emails I ever received said that my blood had been sent to the hospital where I was born. It's never happened again, and in retrospect it was a heck of a coincidence.

I used to endorse checks to deposit at the ATM by signing and writing my account number; one time a few years ago I needed to talk to an actual human teller, and I _could not_ remember my account number to save my life. I eventually wrote it down and then read it out loud. Muscle memory indeed.
