And at the local library they have a laser cutter, 3d printers, quilting machines, sewing machines, screen printing, soundproof studio, jewelry supplies, robotics kits, puzzles, and tools, seeds, and a lot more in addition to their books. If you haven’t been to the library lately, go check it out.

Rushed to library hoping to get study space to take a vc call; too late to get to office. Study rooms available to school students only. (I kinda liked that. Not many other perks at that age.) Instead offered a meeting cabinet - small, sound proof 👌🏽!

I love the book bundles my library does! Great way for me to ask the children's librarian for some age appropriate books on a given topic. I also love interlibrary loans! And activities!

I have a card for every public library in Rhode Island. .... it's just one card. But it's good for the whole state! Interlibrary loans for an entire state means they *will* find you a copy of that book you're looking for.

I have 6 library cards - check if your local library has reciprocity with other districts, because they might. IIRC every county in Maryland has reciprocity with the rest of the state

ah yeah, user interface is always hard (and historically, our online catalog hasn't been really very approachable! to me!) also, with our patrons, is it a DVD? it'll get checked out. They come in and like physically browsing them
