As annoying as it was when everyone reduced Suiseiseki to a meme, I would take it back in a heartbeat if it meant more folks read/watched/talked about Rozen Maiden (more specifically the manga and 2004-2006 anime)

Nothing in Frieren is cheap. It’s very well told. 1 of my favorite manga & anime series. It’s not all about death & loss; it’s also a celebration of life continuing on w/ new adventures. My only minor nitpicks are I wish the demons had more depth & the humor tends to work better in the manga.

It has aging, death & sad moments, but death is always taken seriously & overall the tone is very earnest. I don’t know what trauma triggers your nemesis has. The show deals a lot about loss & regrets.

Yep, Frieren is a nearly immortal elf. The anime is “Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End” & it’s beautiful, highly recommend it.

#Frieren E27: “An Era of Humans.” The third & final test of the first-class mage exam. The anime emphasizes Fern’s potential & growing power more than I remember the manga doing, which I like. (It’s there in the manga, just not as prominent.) Only 1 ep left, imma be inconsolable!

Monster girl of the week format as she has him rape & kill (most of) them. She is playful & has some fun dialog as she makes him engage in gruesome acts of depravity. The victims are mostly, though not always, awful people/monsters. (Bird girl was just minding her own business!) 3/
