Got to see Robot Dreams today, what a delightful film that was. Just over an hour long, it didn't overstay it's welcome and hit all the right notes emotionally. That and some tasty ice cream made this a pretty enjoyable day.

Watching old episodes of the game show Press Your Luck while getting dinner ready, I hear one of the Whammies say "If I'm elected, I will raise your taxes!" Sure the Whammy takes all your money away, but at least it runs an honest campaign and is always forthright about policy.

Helped an elderly neighbor out with a few things today, also ordered a new typewriter ribbon for them. I've got permission to borrow it if I want to. Looking forward to writing some letters with it. But the real news here... Finally, once that ink ribbon comes in, I can save my game!

It's valid to feel that way, I often have those thoughts as well. And I know its a task all on its own, a hole to climb out of, but when you don't fit in, sometimes you just gotta start your own puzzle. You're seen and needed even if rn it just doesn't feel that way. More opportunities will come.

Today I learned that there are 14 Land Before Time movies, which is roughly twice the amount I was aware of. Roll it into the twenties. Then start doing theatrical releases again. I wanna see THE LAND BEFORE TIME XXIV up in lights on a marquee. If originality is dead, make oil?

That's a really good way of putting it into words, as it's something I end up consciously considering when interacting with others. It's trying to find that spot that adds to the discussion instead of co-opting it. Literally what I'm doing rn I guess but that just goes to the point.
