If I read only the vowel sounds of each word, the u in up, the u in truck and the first o in onion sound a little bit different than the rest of the schwas (and all similar to each other)

Of course he has a seemingly endless supply of plastic food: he's a nutritionist. I'm a scientist and I have a seemingly endless supply of science toys/gadgets/memorabilia; my dad (airplane engineer) had lots of toy airplanes. This all makes sense What's weird is her looking at his bank statements!
