The tough thing about this job is that you’re working on yearslong projects and you have to take your feelings and identity out of it just enough so that your life doesn’t implode when you fail, but not so much that the work itself is soulless, and this is… impossible

Yesterday I had a pilot which had been set up at a streamer (and which has taken multiple years off my life) finally totally die, so clearly the only thing to do is to host a live reading/debauched party in its memory HMU if you wanna help out???

A few people have suggested that but I think that movie is more about the alienation of having a weird job and not enough about the underbelly of LA specifically though I do consider it one of the great LA movies
