On this Canada Day, with much of HaliSky put on a boil water advisory, I remind you that there are at least 30 First Nations communities across Canada on long-term boil water advisories.
The longest of these, 29 years, is in Neskantaga First Nation.

I am sorry about your week. That fire seems especially difficult, just as you are feeling safer/better in your new neighbourhood vs the old one. I hope insurance takes care of things quickly and easily for you.

Revisit old reference letters that folks have written for you? Then it’s like other people are saying it, not you! 😉

We often make little pizzas on store-bought naan bread, works well for small-sized ones!

Ah sweet. That would have been a great live show! I enjoyed their BBC radio series prior to the HBO sitcom too.

We really enjoy Tomavinos. Freeman's is convenient/close (possibly quicker).

Sounds like another great hair+helmet combo; and reminds me of the "hair helmet" from the Flight of the Conchords; and also the "hairmet" from Scrubs. Sharing the former, in case you are unfamiliar: www.bikehugger.com/posts/flight...

PS: It's not easy to plan an all ages and abilities route in the suburbs of a hilly city. We've provided details of the road/trail conditions in the ride description, and are happy to take questions if you're wondering if this ride will be a good fit for you and/or your family. Feedback welcome too!

We'll start & end the ride at Shubie Park, and follow @stmack.bsky.social 's #BikeBus route for Michael Wallace Elementary School. We're so excited to see this growth in our community of ride leaders, and to add this suburban route to our roster for #KidicalMassHfx 2024. We hope you can join us. 2/2

Happy Bike Bus Friday for last day of school!
Starting the walking bus was so easy and has been enjoyable all year. 10/10 would recommend.

Attention #BikeHfx. There's a neighbourhood pathway on the next #KidicalMassHfx ride that doesn't have a curb cut. Anyone have suggestions for ramps that would suit this purpose, or maybe one for us to borrow? We'd like something wide enough for a double-wide bike trailer, which is 80cm/31inches.
