I've been watching diagolon get better at making these sorts of images. It's concerning. A few years ago you'd need to have a like-minded artist on board, or at least someone that could replace the text on a political cartoon. Now it's just someone that can type "the cn tower wearing a tutu"

Wow, IIRC a box is 30 caps. So an extra 33¢/cap...which to me is fairly pricy on its own. It's terrible that they would mark it up so much

What is surprising?
- the biz was crowing about its car parking & I had to ask for bike parking
- they listened
- the city installed it *within the same decade* it was requested

Our flag got torn down yesterday, it's up today For a while I naively thought we were past much of the hate and I didn't feel the need to do something like fly a flag. Then my LGBTQ+ friend had their flag torn off their home. I will keep putting this up to support her and everyone in the community

Note: ECCC issued a Special Weather Statement for Digby-Hants counties for heavy rain threat in thunderstorms. Since both the US & CDN high resolution models (attached) suggest a 100+mm threat (flash flooding); folks should consider this risk in their Saturday plans.
