Today is the International Day against Homophobia, Biphobia, and Transphobia (IDAHOBIT). Two things I want to emphasise:
1. There’s a huge amount of it going around, which means the fight is vital; and
2. There’s also a huge amount of queer joy and dynamism and passion.

Calls to ban ninja weapons in the UK is not new and first happened in the late 1980s under Thatcher. But this had side effects in other ways, such as a moral panic about ninjas in popular culture including the Teenage Mutant Ninja/Hero Turtles.
