Roughly 20k in active militia groups, then it's an easy jump to realize that some portion of the 78M who voted for the guy in 2020 would willingly pick up arms for "their guy" since they believe that MAGA nonsense. We said J6 couldn't happen too, until the police opened the gates for them.

No one is saying this CAN’T happen - obviously, it can. What I’m saying is that it’s not inevitable, nor is it inevitable that it’s easy for them and they win. We just saw a relatively tech-focused society of professionals very successfully arm the fuck up in Ukraine in 2022.

Let's run the numbers, shall we? 1% of any group is likely extreme enough to be violent. That's 780k people. Our military is 1.6 million or so. Half the military are liberals (since they are indicative of Americans as a whole) That puts us at... 1.5 million. 5% of Cali.
