dont think i've ever done this but i could really use any positive vibes sent my way, yall. ๐ not supposed to talk or cough post-surgery and I now have a 102 degree fever and a hacking cough and am fucking terrified im going to ruin the entire surgery. this sucks so fucking bad.

I know itโs been said at least once but you get in touch with that surgeon right now! Fevers are dangerous and medical grade cough syrups exist! Even a virtual appointment at an urgent care or something.

My exbf and I got hit hard *immediately* after top surgery, thanks to his conservative religious coworker that doesn't believe in handwashing. He was given "don't get sick during recovery" too and rip. But with care pulled through. It's not ideal, but focus on your rest and you'll come out alright.
