I'd like it if Destiny went away from ammo "types" and just simplified it to matter and energy that your ghost could convert on the fly to whatever gun you were shooting. Then you could put in ghost mods to make him more efficient at one conversion or another.

I think it's entirely possible for a lot of people. If you're an evangelical in the suburbs I doubt you'd see anything besides a technical parked next door pulling an ammo crate out of a garage or a checkpoint or something. If the food and energy infrastructure are ok they won't care.
