Meanwhile the end user market is a hyper competitive churn, often poorly secured, creating inroads for bad actors. Standardisation without monopolisation would help clear up the mess!

Yes I appreciate its quite a lot 😅 So, once you've followed @ap.brid.gy, everything you post on Bluesky will also be posted on Mastodon so no need to do anything else, but if you want to be sure your posts about space reach a bigger audience there then #space & #astrodon will help.

...but as you contribute, people will be encouraged to bridge so they can interact with you. Its a pretty new idea (people interacting between platforms) so its taking a bit of time for people to fully adopt the idea. Thanks for being an early adopter!

Hi Carolyn, so there are a couple, including astrodon but there are others including the Newsmast Space community which we run. Tbh, its tricky to move over completely without setting up a new account on Mastodon itself (we're working on it!)
