That’s what I always wonder when people say public things are bad. Some of the best things are designed for the public under the collection of public money.

The public library is pretty much an American invention that enabled people to educate themselves and improve their circumstances. It still does that work. Facilitating the American dream, to move up to a different, more comfortable class. Public stuff builds a better country.

One of the great things in Spain are the public amenities. The beaches are all public, unlike France where many are private.
